Brandon K. Fisher was a judge for the Anderson County Juvenile Court in Tennessee. He was appointed to this position by the Anderson County Commission on January 19, 2010. He took office the following day, replacing retired Judge April Meldrum. In August 2010, Fisher was elected to a full term, which expired on August 31, 2014.[1][2][3] He did not run for re-election in 2014, instead taking a job at a nonprofit organization that provides mental health care.[4]

Education

Fisher received his B.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He also studied at King's College in London, England.[3]

Career

Fisher has worked as a special education clerk in Anderson County schools, a staff member for U.S. Senator Fred Thompson, and an employee of the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy. From 2004 until his judicial appointment in 2010, Fisher worked as a partner for the law firm, Cantrell, Cantrell, & Fisher.[3]
