Brandon O. Gibson
Brandon O. Gibson was a judge on the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Western Section.[1] She was appointed to the court by Republican Governor Bill Haslam on December 26, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David Farmer. She assumed office on September 1, 2014.[2][3]
Gibson was retained by voters in 2016 for a full eight-year term.[4]
Gibson left the court in 2019 after Gov. Bill Lee (R) appointed her to serve in his administration.[5]
Education
Gibson received her undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University in 1996, her master's degree in agribusiness management from Mississippi State University in 1997, and her J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 2000.[2]
