Brandt Hershman
Brandt Hershman is a former Republican member of the Indiana State Senate. He represented District 7. Hershman was first elected to the chamber in 2000 and resigned on January 2, 2018, in order to accept a position with the Barnes & Thornburg law firm in Washington, D.C. Hershman announced his resignation on December 22, 2017.[1]
Hershman served as the state Senate majority leader from 2016 until his resignation. Before that, he served as Senate majority whip.
Biography
Hershman earned his B.A. in political science from Purdue University. His professional experience includes working as a partner with Wilkes Innovative Technologies, at The White House, Manager of Hershman Farms and District Operations Director for United States Representative Steve Buyer.
