I am a retired veteran who believes firmly in civil service. We can only stand against tyranny if we stand together.

I have served in the Army, on the Arco City Council, and have served on multiple committees, with the intent of bettering Idaho rural communities.

I firmly believe that, regardless of political affiliations, we can enhance our rural communities by working together.
  • Rural Expansion should be handled responsibly, but it is also necessary.
  • Water rights are key in rural communities across the state of Idaho; however, they are particularly important in Eastern Idaho.
  • Economic development is key to successful community progression.
I am going to fight for responsible economic development of Rural Eastern Idaho. Water and farming absolutely MUST be considered when discussing land use and development.
The PRIMARY concern for elected officials is to serve their constituents.
The core responsibilities are to fight for the best interests of their constituents, and ensuring that their tax dollars are spent responsibly, and according to their wishes.
I would like the world to know that we can all work together. I fancy myself as a peacemaker.
I often struggle with my chickens. They always bicker over nesting boxes.
The ideal relationship between the Governer and the State Legislature should be a relationship of open communication in order to meet the goals of all Idahoans.
Rapid growth is one of Idaho's greatest challenges. Without responsible developmental planning, our rapid growth will be detrimental to our economy and to our environment.
Yes. I was Elected to the Arco City Council and learned that nothing is black & white. Experience in Public Service prepares Civil Servants for each prospective position.
Yes. I believe that we all have to work together, regardless of party affiliation. In fact, I would argue that we all have more to learn in debate than in spiritless agreement. I am a firm believer in productive and respectful banter. However, I do not support angry or vengeful dissent.
(Gov) Cecil Andrus (I know, he was the Governor, but I still wish to emulate him), and Sen. Geoff Schroeder.
Yes. I once had a constituent talk to me about her housing situation. She had recently moved to the county and was having trouble getting contractors to come out to remodel her house. We did our best to assist her, but our town is quite rural; it's hard to get contractors out here. It broke my heart.
Yes. So long as the use of emergency powers work with local entities and do not overtly supersede the local judiciary.
I would support a bill which would facilitate responsible growth of rural communities.

Every Governmental Agency should show the taxpayers where their taxes are going. I support 100% transparency at all times.
