I am an experienced water leader who advocates for the customers and residents in Western Municipal Water District’s Division 3, serving as the current Board President. As a single mom, Murrieta resident and Riverside County native, I understands the community and its needs.

I am a Western customer myself, was first elected to the Western Board in 2006 and re-elected for three consecutive terms – 2010, 2014 and 2018.

Representing the residents of Lake Elsinore, properties south of Cajalco Road and west of the 215 Freeway, Temecula, Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Rainbow, and Murrieta.

My service to the area began in 2003, when I was elected to the Board of the Murrieta County Water District, which merged with Western in 2005. Representing Western and its constituents on the Board of Directors at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, I represent the interest of nearly 1 million customers who receive water from the wholesale agency.
  • To maintain high water quality in a fiscally responsible way.
  • To promote water sustainability projects and continued conservation collaborating with regional partners
  • To be outspoken and advocate for water supply solutions and diversity for all local stakeholders
I am committed to continuing to service to the residents in western Riverside County, serving for the betterment of water supplies and use, day in and day out.

-Ensure the funding, facilities and programs are in place to meet future water needs
-Maintain a balanced budget and fiscal responsibility for all ratepayers
-Monitor water demand management, system conditions, and infrastructure
-Encourage ongoing public engagement and participation
-Support conservation and efficiency

During my service, I have been a strong advocate of water education in our schools. I support fiscal responsibility and championed the low-income assistance program, one of the first in the state, to help customers.
