Brenda Frazier-Clemons was a judge on the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She served as a judge from 2003 to 2014 and a senior judge from 2014 to 2015. Frazier-Clemons passed away on October 16, 2017.[1]

Frazier-Clemons earned a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, a master's degree in education from the University of Chicago, a doctoral degree from the University of Madrid, and a J.D. from Temple University.[1]

Prior to joining the bench, Frazier-Clemons was a chief legislative aide to Philadelphia City Councilwoman Marian B. Tasco. Her professional experience also included work as a law clerk for then-Court of Common Pleas Judge Theodore McKee and as an assistant professor of Spanish and language instruction at Rutgers University, an assistant professor of Spanish at the University of Dayton, and an assistant professor of Spanish, the director of undergraduate studies, and the assistant dean for educational affairs at Howard University. Frazier-Clemons also served as the continuing legal education coordinator for Temple University's American Inn Court and as a board member for the Pennsylvania Prison Society, St. Barnabas Episcopal School, and the Dr. Warren E. Smith Health Centers.[1]
