Brenda Gilbert

Brenda Gilbert is a judge of the 6th District Court of Montana, serving Park County and Sweet Grass County. She was elected on November 6, 2012 to replace retired Judge Nels Swandal, effective in January of 2013. Her current term expires in 2018.[1]
Education
Gilbert graduated from Montana State University and earned her J.D. with honors in 1987.[2]
Career
Gilbert worked as a private practice attorney in Livingston prior to joining the District Court in 2013.[1]
2012 election
Gilbert was elected to the 6th District Court. She defeated Brett Linneweber and Bruce Becker in the June 5th primary election and Stephen Potenberg in the November 6th election.[3][4]
