Brenda Rhoades is a judge on the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Texas. She was appointed to the court in 2003. Rhoades served as chief judge of the court from 2010 to 2017.[1][2]

Early life and education

Born in Seoul, Korea, Judge Rhoades immigrated to the United States with her family.

Rhoades received her Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics from Texas A&M University and her J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law.[1][3]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Rhoades spent her legal career in private practice.[1]
