Brenda Rivera (Democratic Party) is a judge for the 2nd Municipal Court District of the New York City Civil Court Bronx County. She assumed office on January 1, 2025. Her current term ends on January 1, 2035.
Rivera (Democratic Party) ran in a special election for the 2nd Municipal Court District judge of the New York City Civil Court Bronx County. She won in the special general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Rivera received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to her election to the bench, Rivera served as a court attorney for the Bronx County Supreme Court.[1]
