Brendan J. Sheehan
Brendan J. Sheehan is a judge of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Ohio. He assumed office in 2009. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Sheehan (Nonpartisan, Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Ohio. Sheehan won in the general election on November 3, 2020. He advanced from the Democratic primary on April 28, 2020.
Sheehan was re-elected to the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in 2014.[1][2]
Biography
Education
Sheehan received both his undergraduate degree and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.[2]
Career
Before his election to the court, Sheehan practiced law with the firm of Brown & Margolius. He also served as both a chief law clerk for Judge Donald Nugent of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and as an assistant county prosecutor for Cuyahoga County in the major trial unit.[2]
