Brendan Linehan Shannon is a judge on the Delaware Bankruptcy Court. He was sworn in as a bankruptcy judge on March 13, 2006.[1][2] Shannon served as chief judge from 2014 to 2018.

Education

Judge Shannon received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.[2][3]

Career

Before his appointment in 2006, Shannon was a partner with Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP in Wilmington, Delaware. While at Young Conaway he represented corporate debtors and official committees in Chapter 11 cases.[2]
