I’m a native of Buffalo, NY; the City of Good Neighbors and the Queen City of the Lakes. I graduated from Canisius University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and I earned a Master of Science in Education from Niagara University.

I’ve worked with the Department of Defense’s protecting Defense Department facilities from biochemical agents in the wake of 9/11, and then working with the State Department at the Diplomatic Security Training Center. I’ve worked in the private financial sector before becoming a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher. I serve our church as a member of the Pastoral Council, as a Reader, and through teaching Baptismal Preparation classes. My experiences have taught me the value of service, prudence, frugality, and honesty.

My Wife and I moved here in 2021 with our three young children and soon welcomed child number four, our first Stanley Native. We’ve been excited to finally have a home that we can grow roots in, and have enjoyed every minute of meeting the people of Stanley and getting to know y’all.
- Government Transparency: Giving thorough, honest, and up-to-date information to our residents.

- Creating Responsible Budgets: Prioritizing needs, not wasteful spending.

- Ending Tax And Spend Politics: Ensuring residents aren’t taxed out of their homes.

- Investing In What Matters: Supporting smart investments in Stanley – not political favors or vanity projects.
Town Councilmembers are the front line of democracy. They live in the same neighbourhoods, shop at the same stores, and drive the same roads as the residents they serve. This closeness makes them more responsive to local needs than officials at higher levels of government.

While state and federal governments pass sweeping laws, the Town Council makes decisions that immediately affect people’s daily lives: setting Property Tax Rates, approving the Town Budget, funding Roads & Parks, and regulating development.

Councilmembers have the ability—and responsibility—to ensure that town government remains open, honest, and accountable. They influence whether meetings are accessible, records are released, and voices are heard.

Town Councilmembers serve as a critical link between the People and State Government, implementing State Laws locally while also advocating upward when State decisions harm or ignore local needs.

Councilmembers help shape and protect the unique character of the Town, balancing growth with preservation, and ensuring that local values aren’t steamrolled by outside interests or one-size-fits-all state policies.
- Moral integrity

- Selflessness
- Fiscal Responsibility
- Stewardship

- Advocating for constituents.
1.) Fiscal Responsibility:

I’ve consistently advocated for sustainable budgeting and responsible use of taxpayer dollars. My focus on cutting unnecessary spending—like excessive administrative costs and inflated council wages—shows my commitment to protecting residents from financial strain.

2.) Transparency & Accountability:
I’ve pushed for honest, accessible government—calling out broken promises, highlighting unfulfilled public records requests, and creating a public platform (like the Stanley Gazebo Facebook Page) for civil dialogue and community engagement. These efforts reflect a strong dedication to open, ethical leadership.

3.) Community Advocacy:
I am deeply rooted in the community and motivated by real concerns—like property tax increases, affordable living, and displacement of homeowners. This gives me a clear understanding of everyday issues facing residents, and a drive to advocate for their interests.

4.) Courage to Speak Up:

I've shown a willingness to challenge the status quo and ask tough questions, even when it’s politically uncomfortable. That independent thinking and principled leadership is exactly what's needed to represent all voices in the town—not just the well-connected.

- Planning for Sustainable Growth

- Holding Government Accountable
A Transparent Government with fair taxes and responsible leadership.
Part-Time jobs in High School & Undergrad notwithstanding, my first Full-Time position was as a Biological Agent Sampling Technician Contractor working under the DoD's Nuclear-Chemical-Biological-Radiological Directorate, testing various DoD facilities in the National Capital Region for harmful Biological Agents in the wake of 9/11. I worked there for one year and seven months.
The Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian from where the film 'Master and Commander: Far Side of the World' is based. I'm just completing my first 'Circumnavigation' of the series. I love its compelling characters, intricate plots, and meticulously researched historical setting, particularly its depiction of naval life during the Napoleonic Wars. I also love its portrayal of friendship and character development between Captain (Lucky) Jack Aubrey and Dr. Stephen Maturin.

The Office of Town Councilmember is the Front Line of Democracy. Councilmembers are responsible for passing Ordinances, setting Local Tax Rates, and approving Budgets — all of which have immediate and lasting effects on Roads, Public Safety, Utilities, Housing, Parks, and Public Services.

A Government of the People, for the people, and by the people is responsible to those it serves to be honest, open, and forthcoming with all of its dealings.
