Help pass a balanced budget amendment. Cut wasteful spending. Reduce health care costs

The challenger disaster .I was in the fifth grade .

Grocery clerk. 5 years or so.

Thanksgiving . Being mindful of God's blessings .

Bible. Everything I need is in the bible .

If you could be any fictional character, who would you want to be?

Superman .High morals and the desire to help. And he can fly.

What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?

The front porch .sitting and enjoying my coffee .

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Taking more time for family

What process do you favor for redistricting?

Districts should have a mix of race, wealth, and community .

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

It's corrupt and is in need of new blood .

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

No. I believe the opposite. There are lots of experienced politicians in Washington doing terrible work.

What do you perceive to be the United States’ greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Uniting as a people .

If you are not a current representative, are there certain committees that you would want to be a part of?

Not particularly

Do you believe that two years is the right term length for representatives?

No .but I believe there should be limits on the number of terms one can serve.

What are your thoughts on term limits?

Long overdue

If you are not currently a member of your party’s leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives, would you be interested in joining the leadership? If so, in what role?

No. It's a waste of time and leads to arrogance and pride.

Is there a particular representative, past or present, whom you want to model yourself after?

I've been a fan of Rand Paul .

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?

I'm motivated by the number of people who are disgusted with our government and demand change.
