Brent Steele (b. August 25, 1947) is a former Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 44 from 2004 to 2016. He served as Assistant Majority Leader for Parliamentary Affairs. He previously served in the Indiana House of Representatives from 1995 to 2002.

Biography

Steele earned his B.S. in the School of Education from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1969 and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in 1972. His professional experience includes working as a Local Coordinator for Senator Lugar, Licensed Indiana Broker, Licensed Indiana Insurance Agent, Partner of Steele, Steele, McSoley and McSoley and partner for Steele and Steele.

Eric Koch defeated Linda Henderson and Darin Kinser in the Indiana State Senate District 44 general election.[1][2]
