Brett Flachsbarth
Brett Flachsbarth is a former acting Kansas secretary of labor. Gov. Laura Kelly (D) appointed Flachsbarth to the position on December 22, 2020, to replace Acting Secretary Ryan Wright, who resigned due to term limits.[1] Flachsbarth left office on January 29, 2021, when Gov. Kelly appointed Amber Shultz to the position.[2]
Biography
Brett Flachsbarth's career experience includes working as the deputy secretary, the director of unemployment insurance, the chief of appeals, and an attorney with the Kansas Department of Labor.[3]
