Born, raised and lived most of my life in District 35. My parents started Skidmore Const. in 1958, my brother and I now own and operate the construction company and have our sons preparing to one day take over. I am married to Scarlet, I have 3 married children and 9 grandchildren. Scarlet has 3 children.
  • Protect Idaho's Children. Our children are under attack from radicals even before they are born and well after. I am Pro-Life and will never allow to give cover to radicals who surgically mutilate or Kill our children
  • Defend 2nd Amendment. Idaho has failed to pass legislation to protect gun owners for criminals and liberal anti-gun prosecutors. I will always protect our 2nd Amendment right!
  • Cut taxes and stop spending. High Taxes and out-of-control spending have hurt our economy. I will be a watchdog against government waste.
Budget and Finance.

There must be more accountability to the State Agencies for their overall spending and find ways to reduce big spending.
Taxes.
One item I am in favor of is repealing the Grocery Tax.
Campaign Finance.
All finances spent in any campaign should be public knowledge. Any organization using funds to promote or endorse a candite must be transparent in their spending.
School Choice

The parent has every right to decide where their child should be taught. Rather it be Home School, Charter or the Public Education System. I am in support of the total amount of funds that is allocated to that student to follow the student to pay for their education by the parents choice.
I have devoted my life to following the path that God has set for me. Jesus Christ is the ultimate role model whom I strive to emulate.
It is of utmost importance that elected officials demonstrate unyielding integrity and a steadfast commitment to their principles. In the face of ever-changing circumstances, they must remain resolute and unwavering in their beliefs. Only then can they be trusted to lead with conviction and honor.
I work tirelessly to learn from my mistakes and overcome obstacles, striving to become a better person each day while remaining humble and acknowledging my imperfections.
As a public servant, it is imperative to remember that our ultimate responsibility is to the people who have entrusted us with their vote. We must never forget that our duty is to represent their interests over any other agenda. Government Representatives must stay committed to serving our constituents with integrity and ensure that their voices are heard loud and clear.
My initial job was on the framing crew of my father's construction company, Skidmore Construction. Eventually, I worked on the concrete crew, finish carpentry team, and house design as well. I started my journey in the company during my high school days and worked my way up the ladder. Currently, I co-own the company with my brother, Randy.

As responsible citizens, we entrust our hard-earned money to the government in the hope of a better future. However, this trust can only be maintained if the government ensures complete transparency and accountability in handling taxpayers' money. Therefore, it is crucial that the government is open and honest about its financial dealings, so we can be confident that our money is being used for the betterment of our society.
