Mark Rendell is the superintendent of Brevard Public Schools. Rendell was appointed on May 2, 2023 and started serving on June 1, 2023.[1][2] Rendell's previous career experience includes serving as a principal of various schools in the Brevard Public school district and as the superintendent of Indian River County school district.[3]
Past superintendents
- Sue Hann was appointed acting superintendent and served from March 2023 until June 1, 2023, when her permanent successor, Mark Rendell, was sworn in.[1][2]
- Robert Schiller served as interim superintendent from January 1, 2023 until March 2023 when he was placed on leave.[1]
- Mark W. Mullins was the superintendent of Brevard Public Schools from July 2018 until December 31, 2022.[4] Mullins' previous career experience includes working as the district's deputy superintendent/COO, a principal, and a mathematics teacher.[5]
