Brewster & Beach City Village Income Tax Additions, 2 (November 2011)

Two Brewster & Beach City Village Income Tax Addition measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the villages of Brewster and Beach City which are in Stark County.

This measure was defeated

The Brewster measure sought to add to the current income tax by a rate of .3 percent for a period of five years in order to help pay for street storm sewers and street tree maintenance costs in the village.

  • NO 432 (55.03%)Defeatedd

The Beach City measure sought to add to the current income tax by a rate of .5 percent for an ongoing period of time in order to help pay for operational costs, facility and capital improvements as well as expanding village services.[1]

  • YES 111 (38.14%)
  • NO 180 (61.86%)Defeatedd[2]
