Brian Battaglia was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Sixth Circuit Court in Florida. He lost in the August 26, 2014, primary.[1][2][3]

Battaglia ran for election to the Sixth Circuit Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 46.5 percent of the vote. He competed against Kimberly Sharpe. [1][3]

2012

Battaglia ran for election in Group 31 on Aug. 14, 2012, but was defeated by Kim Campbell after receiving 41.1 percent of the vote.[4][5]

Education

Battaglia received his undergraduate degree from The Florida State University in 1982, his J.D. from Drake University School of Law in 1985 and his LL.M. degree (health law) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1996.[6]

Career

Battaglia was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1986 and practiced with the firm of Battaglia, Ross, Dicus & Wein, P.A. until he started his own firm, Brian P. Battaglia, P.A. and Bay Mediations in 2013. He is a Florida Supreme Court certified county, circuit court and family mediator and an adjunct professor at Stetson Law School where he teaches dispute resolution.[6]
