Brian Buchanan
Brian Buchanan (Republican Party) is a member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 7. He assumed office on February 12, 2018. His current term ends on November 8, 2028.
Buchanan (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Indiana State Senate to represent District 7. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Buchanan was appointed to replace former Sen. Brandt Hershman, who resigned on January 2, 2018.[1][2]
Biography
Buchanan earned a B.S. in agricultural education from Purdue University. He has served as an at-large member of the Boone City Council since 2016. His professional experience includes working at Fort Wayne Buchanan Hauling and Rigging Inc., his family business, and as executive director of the Indiana FFA Foundation.[1]
