Brian J. Buckelew is a judge of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in California. Buckelew assumed office in 2021. Buckelew's current term ends on January 8, 2029.

Buckelew won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) appointed Buckelew to the court on September 3, 2021, to replace Michele McKay McCoy.[1]

Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Buckelew's appointment on September 3, 2021, identified him as a Democrat.[2]
