Brian C. Denton is a judge for the Fifth District Court in Prince George's County, Maryland. He was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley on August 26, 2014.[1]
Education
Denton received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and his J.D. degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.[1]
Career
Before his appointment to the court, Denton served as the district public defender in Prince George's County. He has previously served as a district public defender for Southern Maryland and later for Anne Arundel County. He began his legal career as an assistant public defender for Prince George's County.[1]
