I’m Brian Vaughn, a Kankakee County resident, community volunteer, and local real estate professional. I’m running for County Clerk to bring a service-first approach, improve transparency, and make local government easier for people to navigate. I believe leadership means showing up, listening, and delivering results.
  • I’m rooted in this community and I’m running to serve it. I believe local government should be responsive, respectful, and focused on helping people, not confusing them.
  • I will push to expand early voting locations to underserved areas like Herscher, Momence, and St. Anne so every voter has a fair and convenient opportunity to participate.
  • I will work to improve access and communication so residents across every part of Kankakee County can easily get the services they need, including voting information and Clerk services.
I’m passionate about expanding early voting access across Kankakee County, especially in communities like Herscher, Momence, and St. Anne. I also care deeply about making the County Clerk’s office easier for residents to navigate through clearer communication, better customer service, and modern tools that save people time. Finally, I believe elections should be secure, accurate, and accessible, and I want to help strengthen public trust by improving transparency and keeping residents informed.
