|I am dedicated to ensuring public safety, seeking truth and equal access to justice for all. As a prosecutor, I have devoted my career to protecting victims and safeguarding our community. As a judge, I will ensure public safety by being firm but fair and seeking just consequences for those who break the law.
My experience includes trying 110 jury trials in the Superior Court involving complex murder, cold case homicide, child abuse, sexual assault, sexually violent predator, domestic violence and gang cases. I was the head deputy of the San Diego City Attorney’s Office Child Abuse and Domestic Violence Unit where I supervised a team of over 20 attorneys, victim advocates, investigators and other staff from 1998 to 2004. I am a respected statewide and national instructor for prosecuting domestic violence, child abuse and strangulation cases.
As a dedicated public servant for 29 years, I have sought to attain truth and justice and would like to continue to serve the public as a Superior Court judge. I believe that my extensive experience, commitment to community safety and bipartisan support make me the most qualified candidate.
