Brian Fechter was the acting Alaska Commissioner of the Department of Revenue. Fechter assumed office on November 8, 2022. Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) appointed Fechter to replace former acting Commissioner Deven Mitchell.[1] Fechter left office on November 16, 2022, following the appointment of Adam Crum as permanent commissioner.[2]

Biography

Brian Fechter earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and Tulane University. He also received a master's degree from Saint Joseph's University in financial planning services. As of this writing, Fechter's career experience included working as an accountant and as a policy analyst.[3]
