I am an attorney with my own law firm located in the 10th District. I previously served three terms on the Village of Ashville Council. I served two terms as President Pro Tem. During my tenure with the Village of Ashville, I was also the head of several committees. I am looking forward to using my legal and political experience to serve the constituents of the 10th District.
  • Economic development, continued tax reform and decreased/eliminated regulations are very important for a strong local economy. A strong local economy for families and businesses provides opportunities and stability.
  • Education goes hand in hand with the local economy. Students need to be prepared for college, trade schools and the workforce depending upon the student's chosen path. School choice is also very important for families. Families should have the ability to choose the best educational experience for their child. Greater partnerships need to be established between families and schools so kids are prepared to learn and teachers do not need to spend so much time disciplining students.
  • Support of our police and fire departments are critical to a safe/stable community. Juvenile crime is escalating, and children typically are not intimidated by the justice system. Bail reform is necessary to punish/deter youth crime and stiffer penalties for juvenile offenders need to be enforced.
Several Biblical figures because of their courage and resilience.
Courage, resilience, honesty, a collaborative spirit and strong work ethic are a few.
I am cooperative/collaborative and can agree to disagree in a respectful manner.
To represent the best interests of the district regardless of the political climate/political pressure.
Whether we agreed or disagreed, we did it in a professional manner.
Lot boy in a car dealership. Six months.
Bible. It is a roadmap for life.
Batman. I always wanted to be him when I was a kid.
A relationship of collaboration with the proper checks and balances.
Healthcare costs, housing, senior care and education financing and oversight.
Yes. It is critical. There must be collaboration/cooperation between the parties whenever possible.
Abraham Lincoln, JFK and Ronald Reagan are some that come to mind.
Too many lawyer jokes to remember! I love them all.
The legislature should oversee the use of emergency powers.
Creation of a public-private partnership between Ohio colleges and secondary schools and Ohio employers to facilitate internships, create mentorships, etc.
Civil Justice, Constitutional, Economic and Workforce Development, Primary and Secondary Education.
The government is accountable and should be financially transparent. The government should b required to run under a balanced budget.
Support. I think signatures should be required from all 88 Ohio counties, the number of signatures overall should be increased and there should be a supermajority required for passage.
