Brian Hosmer
Brian Hosmer was a member of the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education in Oklahoma, representing District 5. He assumed office on February 19, 2019. He left office on June 30, 2020.
Hosmer was appointed to the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education on February 4, 2019.[1] His term was initially set to end on April 2, 2020, but was extended to June 30, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic.[2]
Biography
Hosmer earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont, a Masters Degree from the University of Texas-Austin, and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas. He is the Chair in Western American History at the University of Tulsa. Hosmer previously worked at the University of Delaware, University of Wyoming, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.[3]
He is married, has one daughter, and has two dogs.[4]
