Brian Hoyle (Republican Party) is a judge for Place 2 of the Texas Twelfth District Court of Appeals. He assumed office on August 28, 2006. His current term ends on December 31, 2028.

Biography

Education

Hoyle received his B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1991 and his J.D. from Baylor Law School in 1994.[1]

Career

Hoyle began his legal career as a clerk for the Texas Farm Bureau in Waco. He then worked as a law clerk to William Steger of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas from 1994 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, he practiced law with the firm Merriman, Patterson & Allison. He then practiced with Brown McCaroll, LLP. In December of 2001, he became a partner with McCarroll. He worked in this capacity until his appointment to the court of appeals in 2006.[1]
