Aloha. My name is Brian Lauro. I grew up in Ohio, loving and serving God and people. I attended the University of Akron, where I studied criminal justice and Political science. I am a husband, a father, a local business owner, a retired police officer from Ohio and have spent nearly all of my life in public safety. I have over 30 years protecting and defending the lives of others. I volunteer my time daily cleaning up Oahu and saving the lives of countless people who get in trouble in the ocean at China Walls.
  • Public safety is a top priority
  • I will help create affordable housing and improve the cost of living
  • Protect family values
I will help create voter integrity. I will fight again government corruption, protect family values, create affordable housing and improve the cost of living, protect the environment, and make public safety a top priority.
I have always looked up to Craig Christner. He had a deep and personal love for God and he loved and served people in every way he could.
I am a Christian. I have a reputation of honesty, integrity, and faith in God. I am well known for sacrificing my life for others and serving people.
We have a responsibility to protect and defend the constitution of the United States and the State of Hawaii and to represent the needs of the people.
That we can serve people without corruption or personal gain. That all lives matter and we are here to make sure our citizen know and feel that. And that Hawaii can be the greatest state in our nation to live and raise our families.
My very first job ever was a cook at Wendy's.
The Bible. Because I believe it is the living word of God.
I got the Joy Joy Joy Joy down in my heart. Thanks Heather (My amazing wife).
Dealing with corrupt and selfish people is appalling to me. Yet, we are called to love and serve them all.
We need to work cooperatively together to best serve the people of this state.
Reducing the cost of living and defeating government corruption.
The drawback is that there is no checks and balances. When there is unrestrained power in government, it always leads to corruption. The only benefit is to the persons in charge, not the people of a Constitutional Republic.
No. We are finding out that character is more important than experience in politics.
I believe it is beneficial to build relationships with the people and colleagues. No one can succeed in government on there own.
I am interested in Public Safety, Intergovernmental, and Military Affairs, Judiciary, Ways and Means, and Hawaiian Affairs.
No. For over 60 years are past government has degraded the way of life here in Hawaii.
Nearly everyone I meet says that "they either have given up on voting for people that have no integrity" or "they vote for the person they hate the least." This is not how our current politicians are to serve and represent the people of this great state and nation. People deserve better options.
Yes. And with great discretion. Not for personal gain or tyrannical power over people.
I believe you need to be open minded. Compromise is absolutely necessary to get the job done.
