- Public Safety: that includes addressing crime, homelessness, mental Illness & drugaddiction. There needs to be measurable results andaccountability for government homelessness programs. A third of the homeless have mental health issues, half have drug dependency issues. These need to be addressed. The current bandaid approach does not get to the core problems. Tougher sentencing for violent and repeat offenders. Get them off thestreets. Ensure police have proper funding.
- Economic Growth and Job Creation. Reduce Taxes and Regulations: Advocate for tax cuts and the elimination of unnecessary regulations that burden existing businesses and hinder economic growth. Support Infrastructure Improvements: Push for investments in critical infrastructure projects, such as road repairs, bridge upgrades, and projects that reduce traffic congestion. Attract Businesses: Implement incentives such as tax credits, grants and fast-track permitting processes for businesses that relocate to our area where they can create jobs and flourish.
- Affordable Housing. Increased Housing Supply: Advocate for zoning reforms and the reduction of bureaucratic red tape to expedite the construction of new housing units, particularly affordable and workforce housing. Public-Private Partnerships: Encourage collaborations between government agencies and private developers to create affordable housing projects, leveraging private investment and expertise. Tax Incentives: Provide tax incentives to landlords who agree to keep rents below market rates.
back to Washington State after living in different parts of this country is because he taught to how to avoid getting lost. He showed me the importance of family, friends and community.
