Collapse all
|Because of my Christian faith, I have been called into ministry. I have had the opportunity to work as a civilian alongside U.S. Military chaplains in Germany on U.S Military installations. I have worked as an Executive Pastor in a church in Sioux Falls, SD, with a congregation size of 2000+. Currently, I serve as a Managing Director at Volunteers of America- Dakotas, a faith-based non-profit in Sioux Falls that touches the lives of about 10,000 people annually. I am still a licensed Pastor, and I have volunteered some of my time in the county jail and state prison, mentoring inmates. I have served as a team chaplain for sports teams and have served on many non-profit boards in my community. I believe my experience makes me a uniquely qualified candidate for the House of Representatives.
- I am all for smaller Government, taxes and efficiencies that save the tax payer.
- In my current role I understand the needs of our community and state, and can offer reasonable solutions through public/ private partnerships.
- As a conservative, I am pro-life, and pro-second amendment.
But also to provide real and practical solutions to problems.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
