I will hear my neighbors, and so shall the City of Pittsburgh.- Communication is a two way street, especially when elected to serve as a representative of your neighbors. I will always hear out those I would be serving if bestowed with the honor of doing so. I will also always respond in a timely manner to concerns brought to me.

We have to meet them head on and be fiscally responsible while doing so.
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King's August 28th, 1963 I Have A Dream speech has and always will resonate with me as something to strive for in society. Equality and justice for all.
After that, being a strong negotiator and advocate for those they serve are also must have qualities. Community isn't about self, nor should governance be.
