The general election was canceled. Brian O'Neal (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.
2016
Two of the five seats on the Anaheim Union High School District board of trustees were supposed to be up for by-district general election on November 8, 2016. Due to lack of opposition, however, the election was canceled. Incumbents Katherine Smith and Brian O'Neal were the only candidates to file for the Trustee Area 3 and 4 seats, respectively. Because of this, they were re-elected by default.[1]
