Brian Reese
Brian Reese was a 2014 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Georgia.[1] He was defeated by Earl "Buddy" Carter (R) in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2] Reese advanced past the Democratic primary on May 20, 2014.[3] He defeated Amy Tavio in the Democratic runoff primary on July 22, 2014.[4]
Biography
Reese was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He received his general education at Jenkins High School and later attended Savannah State University where he earned a degree in political science. At the time of his candidacy, Reese was employed by the United Parcel Services as a managing supervisor. He also previously worked as a claims adjuster for a variety of insurance companies. Reese is married with two children and is a strong believer of community service.[5]
