What has twenty-two years of Republican Leadership accomplished in Pasco County, Florida?

1) Uncontrolled growth causes multiple environmental and infrastructure issues. 2) Our teachers are leaving because they are not paid a living wage.

3) I will do everything possible to restore a woman's rights to allow her and her doctor to make the best medical decision for her situation.
  • We must protect a women's right to privacy and allow her and her doctor to make the best decisions to support her health.
  • We must address our Veterans needs for housing, jobs, and mental health care.
  • We must work to address equal pay for our schoolteachers and service-related personnel
I am most passionate about the recent actions that limit women's right to privacy. Women should have the right to privacy as guaranteed in the fourteenth amendment and be able to seek out the appropriate medical advice given their situation.

I am a second-generation veteran who believes in "Duty, Honor, and Country." These words I take to heart as well my oath to defend the people against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. I am a middle of the road Democrat who will work for the people and not special interests.
  • Telling like it is. I believe in making decisions based in fact and not conjecture or alternative facts (lies).
  • I will always work with others to get the job done.
  • A campaign is nothing more than a very long job interview so the people can hire me to represent them in an official capacity.
Environment: We must address our dependency on oil and reverse this dependency and create a green economy ASAP.

Education: We must work toward a standardized education system across the U.S. . This is imperative that all Americans can form critical decisions based on previous actions taken throughout history.

Health: We must work toward a fair and equitable health care system. I do support the ACA, but it does need some work.
Abraham Lincoln: His ability to influence people in a positive way.
Yes, the book entitled "The Power Worshippers". This book will give you a particularly good insight as to how the religious right has obfuscated the Christian belief system to push a nationalist movement of hate and partisanship.

I firmly believe that I will respect different views, analyze problems, and identify the best solutions - not based on loyalty to political party, but rather based on what is good and right and in the best interest of the nation as a whole.

I would like to have people think of my decisions when in office as being what was best and fair to all peoples.
The assassination of John F. Kennedy. I was four years old. I remember it so well because my mother was crying for days and all of the TV coverage.
At the age of 12, I started working with my brother in law as a plumbers assistant. At fourteen I went to work at a local gas station. After graduation and honorable discharge from the Navy, I went to work in military logistics. I then decided to work in the computer field and eventually retired from CISCO systems.
Depends as of today it is "The Power Worshippers", in the past it has been any Tom Clancy movie or book.
Parts 1-5 of Pink Floyds Shine on Your Crazy Diamond.
Remembering people names. From time to time this has been an issue.
Florida follows what I call a traditional form of government composed of three branches: the executive branch consisting of the governor and the other elected and appointed constitutional officers, the legislative branch, consisting of the Senate and House, and the judicial branch consisting of the Supreme Court and lower courts.

The second part of the question is somewhat perplexing as all three branches are controlled by the republican party so the differences are not really an issue.
No, sometimes it is a good thing to have a new fresh look at how things have been done for decades. A fresh look can open the door to innovation.
Growth, Our infrastructure has followed the rule we will build our infrastructure when they come. When dealing with low growth rates this philosophy works. But when your growth rate is overwhelming this philosophy can lead to disastrous outcomes, especially for your infrastructure.
An ideal relationship between these two dranches is one of cooperation and open discussion.
Yes, having positive relationships bothinside and out side the political arena is defiantly a good thing so you can understand how each and every individual will react to a given situation.

Yes, I would like to run for the Florida Senate and then maybe the U.S. House of representatives.
Yes, while gathering candidate petitions I spoke with thousands of my fellow Pasco citizens many of which were just moving to or had moved to Florida from northern states over the last few years.  Their story concerning our education system was eye-popping as they all said the same thing.  When we placed our children into their perspective grade level class they found that their child was at least two grade levels ahead of their new classmates and our critical thinking skills were almost non-existent. This was very scarry and many placed the blame on your implementation of Common Core. Which I found after many hours of research to be reasonably accurate especially when it cam to math and social studies.
