I have seen my role as a City Councilman, as Mayor, and hopefully as a State Representative as a way to help the community I have call my hometown for the last 40+ years, and to look out for future of that community, my neighbors, my friends and my family. Over the last 11 years as a council member and Mayor, I have worked for these same goals, with good success. A more conservative budget, additional street projects, miles of new sidewalk, better police protection, new parks and additional businesses on the way – these are some of the things I have accomplished. I am a practical, independent voice, who believes in doing the right thing and getting the job done – whatever it takes – and I hope that you will vote for me on August 2nd!
Protect Our Fundamental Rights

We must continue to defend our fundamental rights as U.S. and Missouri citizens. This includes protecting our freedom of speech, the 2nd amendment, and the right to life. I have, and will continue, to support local control when it comes to our schools and communities, and the voice of individual voters at the local and state level.
Commitment to Public Safety
One of our highest priorities must be to keep our citizens and businesses in safe. I have worked closely with the Nixa Police Department to meet the needs of our ever-growing community. To that end we have committed increasing funds for pay increases and additional staffing. We must work to make our communities safe and sustainable places to live by continuing to support and training our police across the state.

Jobs and Economic Development

Christian County and Missouri must continue to expand its economic base. This will allow for the revenue to keep up our streets, support our law enforcement and schools, and create businesses and jobs for our residents. Nixa, Clever and Billings are all bedroom communities- but each new business that is created, family farm that is defended and local industry that grows, mean more support for our community. As a founding member of Show-Me Christian County I understand the challenges we face and what needs to happen at the state level to support our local businesses.
