COVID & MANDATES Over the past two years, much of the American economy was essentially shutdown under the guise of “science.” It has since be proven these lockdowns provided more harm than help, mandates did not work, and Washington’s suppression of proven COVID treatments based on partisan bias was simply wrong. Dr. Tyson ignored Washington’s dysfunctional approach and instead provided early COVID treatments to over 10,000 patients with impeccable results. He knows it’s time to end the mandates, let doctors be doctors, and protect the fundamental relationship between the patient and their physician.
The Colorado River runs the length of the 25th congressional district and it’s importance to both farmers and residents cannot be understated. The Salton Sea sits in the middle of the District as well and poses a substantial health risk. With every year that passes, the exposed playa becomes increasing harmful and a growing public health risk; this challenge must be met with a proactive approach that works toward ongoing mitigation efforts. Dr. Tyson knows that water is the elixir of life. He will work tirelessly to protect water rights, ensure public health, and maintain access to fresh, clean water to always meet the needs of District citizens, farmers, and the agricultural industry.
As Congress pushes trillions of dollars in new spending, debt ceiling suspensions, and a laundry list of middle-class tax hikes, we are seeing current leadership run amok. Inflation is above five percent, with free money flooding the economic system. Millions of Americans refuse to work, content with government handouts that undermine small business job creation. Dr. Tyson will promote American job growth stopping endless handouts that are harmful, blocking wasteful and reckless spending to reduce our national debt and protect our economy and future generations.
President Biden and current leadership continue to preside over the worst border crisis in two decades. U.S. Customs and Border Protection figures show over 2 million illegal border crossing in 2021. Under the direction of the Biden administration, border enforcement refuses to stop migrants headed from Mexico to the United States. Migrant caravans are everywhere, bringing drugs and crime to every part of the country. Dr. Tyson will support our border patrol and immigration agencies, work to secure America’s southern border, and oppose amnesty. He will promote a ready lane for daily legal border crossings of Work Visa’s and School Age Children to prevent long morning lines for routine activity. We will streamline the legal process for hard working Hispanics and those working the fields and farms. They deserve to be at the front of the line, not the back.
Leadership starts at the top. After a botched withdrawal that saw 13 U.S. service members killed by the Taliban, more Americans remained stranded in Afghanistan. President Biden ignored his military generals, who requested that thousands of American troops remain in the unstable country. Instead, the Biden administration retreated on all fronts, diminishing America’s standing in the world and disheartening our allies. America now projects an image of weakness and incompetence on the international stage which has lead to Russian aggression in Europe and China’s expanding threats in Asia. Dr. Tyson knows the importance of projecting American strength and will support new strong, competent Commander-in-Chief once elected to Congress.
The radical left is trying to take over our education system. From promoting critical race theory to glorifying the tenets of socialism, today’s leaders are attempting to indoctrinate our children from a disturbingly young age. Making matters even worse, many local leftist education leaders are ignoring the input of parents. It is simply unacceptable. Dr. Tyson will work to eliminate CRT and other radical left theories from the education curriculum. He will ensure local leaders listen to parents, support charter school funding, and promote choice in education for every American child.
In countless urban areas, violence—drug-related and otherwise—is rampant and rising. Homicides increased by nearly 44% from 2019 to 2021, according to the Council on Criminal Justice. As the Defund the Police movement gained traction in recent years, 16 American cities last year had their highest murder rates in recorded history. Fewer law enforcement officers means increases in crime. Dr. Tyson strongly supports law enforcement officers across the nation, understands their dedication and sacrifice, and will support policies that fully fund public safety.
Today’s Leaders in government, the most left-wing party in U.S. history, are responsible for threatening individual rights. The current iteration of the Socialist Party is so obsessed with ramming leftist proposals down the throats of everyday Americans that they cannot come up for air. The COVID-19 pandemic has led these leaders to tread all over the Constitution to impose vaccine mandates on tens of millions of Americans, attempting to levy five- and six-figure fines on private employers, and allowing the federal government’s interference in private medical decisions as pushed by the Biden administration. “Constitutional” means nothing; only power does. Dr. Tyson will protect individual rights by always fighting to uphold the Constitution.
American freedom is under assault. From inept White House leadership to a radical congressional agenda and an emboldened federal bureaucracy, never have the tenets of America’s founding—life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—been so fundamentally besieged by the Left. Dr. Tyson will get America back to the basics, focusing on the core principles of our American republic. The Constitution matters. Individual liberty matters. Freedom matters. Dr. Tyson will work hard to restore the medical freedoms that have been lost during the last 2 years and will fight to keep the Patient-Doctor relationship sacred. Nobody needs to know your medical status especially for travel, events and dining.[2] |
