I was born in Tacoma and have lived in Pierce County most of my life. I've served as a Pierce County Deputy Prosecutor for nearly a quarter century and continue to serve as an Army Reserve Judge Advocate. I've practiced criminal and civil law and represented clients large and small. I know our community and understand our problems and promise.

I've seen firsthand the damage done when recidivists pending serious charges are released before trial despite significant public safety concerns or when violent juvenile offenders face insufficient consequences. Everyone deserves to be safe, and all are entitled to justice -including crime victims.

That means everyone deserves equal access to courts and fair treatment before them. It requires that people who have behaved similarly be treated similarly, and that outcomes not vary based on immutable characteristics or political considerations. If given the privilege to serve you as Superior Court judge, I will do my utmost to ensure this.

I’ve been rated "Exceptionally Well Qualified" for Superior Court Judge by the Washington State Veterans Bar Association and endorsed by law enforcement groups, including the Pierce County Deputy Sheriff’s Independent Guild and the Puyallup Police Association. I would be honored to have your vote. Let’s pursue justice through law, not politics. It’s our only path towards a safer, fairer Pierce County and the only one I’ll follow.

Justice must be administered according to law, not politics. It’s our only path towards a safer, fairer Pierce County and the only one I’ll follow.
I want to ensure that justice is administered according to law unfettered by politics, and that those who behave similarly and treated similarly, regardless of immutable characteristics or political considerations.
