A Bridgeport Township Fire Levy proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Saginaw County, which is in Michigan, where it was defeated.
If approved, this proposal would have authorized the Township of Bridgeport to increase property taxes by 0.756 mills ($0.756 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 4 years in order to fund the fire protection and emergency medical services in the Township. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $146,377.75.[1]
