I’m Bridgette Ehly, but my friends call me Bridge. I’m a wife, mother, and former TV news reporter who will not be intimidated as I fight to preserve our Freedoms. I will stand up to corrupt politicians and bureaucrats who think they can trample on our God-given rights and control every aspect of our lives! Masking hurt our children while vaccine mandates threaten the jobs of hard-working Kentuckians. Republican leadership has the power to stop government and corporate overreach but stays silent. It’s been “business as usual” for too long in Frankfort. It’s time to kick the RINOs to the curb! I will defend our Constitutional rights and work to cut taxes and bureaucratic waste! We need to fix our crumbling state highways, improve educational opportunities, and provide work and businesses incentives.

I’ll listen to the concerns of Oldham County residents whose voices have been ignored. We are a community of hard-working and caring people, and our way of life will not be destroyed. Not on my watch! We can and will reform our government and enjoy the prosperity that is our birthright. I see a bright future ahead. Please stand with me in this fight for Freedom!

  • Second Amendment – The Founding Fathers left no question that our right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed.” They also made it clear that this is for the safety of We the People, if we ever become oppressed by a tyrannical government.
  • Right to Life – I am 100% Pro-Life and will passionately defend the sanctity of human life. Kentucky must lead the nation in speaking strongly for those who cannot speak for themselves, while showing compassion for young women in crisis.
  • Cut Taxes - I support eliminating the individual income tax in Kentucky. This will attract new workers to the Commonwealth and help Kentucky businesses to be competitive. Likewise, I will oppose any tax increases.
Election Integrity, Medical Freedom, Lower Taxes, Fiscal Responsibility, Pro-Life, School choice, Freedom of Speech.
I most look up to Jesus, not only from a religious perspective, but also from an anti-political-establishment point of view. Jesus challenged the elites and boldly spoke the truth about their corruption. He commanded us to love one another.
Some of my earliest memories are images from the Vietnam War and they were terrible. I remember how the media portrayed anti-war demonstrators as drug-addicted hippies. This discouraged the middle class from joining the anti-war movement. Thankfully, we can now get much of our news online. I support legislation to preserve our right to free speech on the internet.
My first job was a part-time position working at a little library in the small town where I grew up. I was a high school student at the time, and I loved shelving books and helping the younger children who came in to read. The library had a great collection of beautiful picture books that took the kids on amazing adventures! It breaks my heart to think that our school libraries are now home to books that contain obscene sex education and Critical Race Theory. Children are too young to grasp these concepts, but they are offended by them. I support legislation to protect our kids from these negative and divisive influences.
The General Assembly of Kentucky makes the laws. The governor is the manager of the Commonwealth.
We need to provide work and business incentives to get Kentuckians back to work. I will fight to reduce government waste and divert tax money back to where it belongs, fixing our crumbling state roads and highways.
It is necessary in fiscal matters since there are many individual interests involved. We must consider the needs of others and mediate fairly but with common sense. If a bill deals with our Constitutional rights, there is no room for compromise.
