I am a 24 year military, civil engineer and project manager. I have lived in Williamson County for 22 years. My opponent is largely funded by big developers and contractors, and her decisions reflect those priorities I have lived a life of public service and am running to bring honesty and integrity to the court. My husband Kent and I have 5 children, 9 grandchildren and a Service Dog. We are living to make government more representative and to make Williamson County Better With Brigid.
  • The incumbent has essentially defunded law enforcement in Williamson County. I support all funding associated with safety for our Sheriff's Department, corrections, EMS and First Responders. I am proud to have earned their endorsement.
  • Our most existential need in Williamson County is water. My opponent refuses to even discuss water issues and does not support a Groundwater Conservation District. The Trinity Aquifer and our wells are running dry. I SUPPORT THE IMMEDIATE ESTABLISHMENT OF A GROUNDWATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT. Our weail
  • Our property taxes are prohibitively high. I want people who work in Williamson County to be able to live here. While I am in favor of economic development, I am NOT in favor of hugh business tax abatements that push the tax burden onto existing citizens.
I am passionate about SAFETY. Safety has many facets, supporting and funding law enforcement, ensuring we have sufficient water for agricultural and human consumption, and ensuring our roads are safe. I will support landowner rights in these decisions.
