I am the daughter of TVA retirees and live in Greenville, Ky. I serve as the Campus Manager for Madisonville Community College’s Muhlenberg Campus and have been with the college since 2011. I am a single mother to a 12-year-old daughter who is actively involved in middle school softball, middle and high school cheer teams, and the Beta club.

I earned a bachelor of science in human resources management from Western Kentucky University, a master of science in organizational communication from Murray State University, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Western Kentucky University.

As an educator, mother, and community leader I understand the importance of finding common ground. I am passionate about helping people and serving the community and will do my best to be an advocate for the people of District 15.
  • My goal is to listen to the needs of the constituents from District 15, no matter their party affiliation, and do my part to find common ground and help resolve issues that are significantly impacting the overall growth of our communities. It's not about me, but how we can work together to change our district.
  • Education is a priority and I want to not only help our teachers, but staff, and students as well. Teachers and staff deserve raises and changes in the pay scale to ensure they earn more livable wages. I want to find ways to make sure teachers, staff, and students are all safe, and have the resources needed to be successful.
  • Butler and Muhlenberg Counties now have an opportunity to come together and help each other grow. We have people from each county working in the other and we've been neighbors far too long to not start collaborating more. I want to see our economies, workforce, and the health of our people grow and get better. It's time for us to stand together to make change happen.
Education, workforce development and economic growth, and healthcare. These areas serve as umbrellas to so many issues that currently plague our communities. By addressing issues within these areas we can address many of the concerns of the individuals in the Commonwealth. We need livable wages and more opportunities for those looking for jobs -- including training/education and childcare assistance, legalizing sports betting/gambling in the state would bring money back into Kentucky instead of our people crossing state lines to spend money in other states, access to affordable and alternative healthcare would also be beneficial to our communities. Legalizing medicinal cannabis and lowering prescription cost could help those who feel they have to decide between taking their medicine or putting food on the table to survive. Problems can't be solved overnight, but I am passionate about being an advocate to resolve these issues to see our communities thrive again.
Transparent, honest, willing to learn, good listener, passionate, empathetic, open communicator, willing to compromise, empowering, motivator, diligent, and a servant leader.
My first job was a summer job at a factory in Morgantown, KY called Kellwood. I worked there for a few months until school started back. I pulled inventory, priced clothing items, and sorted. It was a great experience
They should work together to meet the needs of the people in the Commonwealth. They may not always agree on everything, but the people should be the priority.
Yes, the bills that are passed in legislation will impact constituents of all districts; therefore, it is important to work with legislators across the state to understand the needs of the people in the different districts. The goal is to provide a better life for all across the state, not just specific areas.
Education, Health and Family Services, Appropriations & Revenue, Tourism & Outdoor Recreation
Yes, our constituents have different values and beliefs and the only way to try and meet the needs of all constituents is to find common ground and compromise. Most times people want the same thing, they just have different ways of saying it.
