Brittany is running for Pennsylvania State House (168th District). After receiving her Master's in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, Brittany worked in federal and local government. She is currently the Director at an economic consulting firm and specializes in community and economic development. Brittany will advocate for progressive legislation and work tirelessly to: 1) balance development with open space, 2) invest in early education, 3) increase government transparency. and 4) advocate for veterans and military families. Brittany is a proud mom of two and a military spouse, she will fight to make sure that ALL our children, businesses, and families have the opportunity to thrive.
  • Balance development with open space to ensure that we manage growth and build sustainable communities
  • Invest in public education and early education to ensure that every child has access to opportunity
  • Improve government so it works for all people by being transparent, accountable and responsible
I have a passion for building strong communities places where families and businesses can thrive- and where no one is left behind. This passion started at a very early age. One of my first early memories around "community" is about a car ride. Every Sunday growing up we would go to church and I can remember as a little girl piling in the car to drive from West Chester to West Philadelphia. Every Sunday, I would look out my window and watch as the community changed before my eyes. It went from green manicured lawns to buildings falling down, the sidewalks messed up, and the roads in disrepair. And I would wonder how that could happen in just a short car ride. That is where my passion for communities started. I strongly believe that your zip code should not dictate your opportunity in life. It should not determine your destiny.

I have spent my education and career learning how government, businesses, and individuals can help build strong communities. After receiving my Masters in Public Administration, I worked at HUD during the Obama administration as a Budget Analyst. When my husband got stationed in Norfolk VA, I served in the legislative and executive side of city government. I currently work as an economic consultant in Philadelphia. All of these experiences have led me to this moment. I want to be a State Representative so I can make sure that our communities are vibrant, our children have a bright future, and our government works for everyone.
Absolutely. I will work hard to find common ground within my caucus, across the aisle, and across the state. We may have some division between Democrats, Republicans, Suburban, City, and Rural constituencies, but at the end of the day, we are all human beings. I'll seek out the unique opportunities to collaborate on issues that improve the quality of life for all Pennsylvanians.
