Kloer has been serving the community as a high school agricultural educator for the past 12 years. As an educator, she understands the issues facing our schools and the importance of supporting our teachers and support staff while providing the best education possible for our students. She has also served as an educational advocate for the past four years for an organization that serves agricultural educators. Kloer currently serves on the Indiana Association for Career and Technical Education Legislative Committee. I believe in the conservative values that have made our community great, I support religious liberty, fiscal responsibility and the fundamental rights provided to every citizen by our constitution.
  • Education, I have served as a public educator for the past 12 years.
  • Agriculture, I am a 5th generation agriculturalist to live the family homestead.
  • Pro Life
As an educator, I will use what I have learned in my 12 years of service at a public school and as an educational legislative advocate for the past 4 years to lay the groundwork to support public education at the next legislative session and fight against unfunded mandates. I understand first hand the struggles of lack of funding for, not only teachers, but school and corporations as well. I became an advocate for education because I wanted to let lawmakers know exactly what my students needed to be successful in and out of the classroom. I believe in the conservative values that have made our community great, I support religious liberty, fiscal responsibility and the fundamental rights provided to every citizen by our constitution.

I look up to several of my current and former students. Some of my students have been through so much, but they still are still driven and passionate about their dreams! They motivate me on several levels and make me want to strive to be better! One of my favorite things about teaching in the same school system for so long is seeing my students being adults!
I have the opportunity to make a difference in the future of the next generations, but with that opportunity comes many challenges. It is my responsibility to provide my students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in today's world. Our public schools provided a foundation for students to make informed decisions, think critically, and evaluate relevant issues using problem solving skills. In today's competitive society, it is vital for my students to receive a stimulating education as well as an opportunity for continual learning and individual growth. I hope to take these standards straight to the Indiana State House.
The world stopped turning while I was in my sophomore year of high school, on September 11, 2001. I remember watching the news wondering what was next. I remember watching President George W. Bush speech at ground zero while using a bullhorn. A member of the crowd shouted "We can't hear you", George W replied, "I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you And the people who knocked these building down will hear all of us soon." In that moment as a teenager, I knew we were going to war. Many of my students today were born after September 11, 2001 and have never lived a day without knowing war. Even though Obama officially ended the War on Terror in 2014, we continue to see terrorism around the world.
My first job outside of the family farm was at the SkyVue Drive-In located in New Castle, Indiana from 2000 - 2004. During the evenings I could be found refilling popcorn tubs or drinks at the concession stand.
The heart of any governing body should be the citizens. It is important that we bring all background together to support our state. In 2019, 1 in 6 bills impacted education; this created 1,269 pages of Indiana Educational Code.
Yes, it is important to build relationships with other legislators, but ultimately it is important that the legislator votes for what is best for their district.
I would love to serve on the Education Committee and Agriculture and Rural Development Committee. As a Career and Technical Education: Agriculture Teacher for the past 12 years, I can bring a new perspective to these committees. I have seen first hand the impact legislators have made on my classroom and on family farms.
