The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Roz Baker defeated Terez M. Amato in the Democratic primary, while Jared P. "Pika" Dubois was unopposed in the Republican primary. Baker defeated Dubois and Bronson Kekahuna Kaahui (L) in the general election.[1][2][3]
