Bronwyn C. Miller is a judge of the Florida 3rd District Court of Appeal. She assumed office in 2019. Her current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Miller ran for re-election for judge of the Florida 3rd District Court of Appeal. She won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.

Miller was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Criminal Division, in Florida, from 2010 to 2019. She was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist on August 2, 2010 to succeed Judith L. Kreeger.[1][2][3]

Biography

Education

Miller received her B.A. degree from Barnard College - Columbia University in 1994 and her J.D. from the University of Miami in 1997. She later taught as an adjunct professor at Florida International University.[4][1][2]

Career

Miller began her legal career in 1997 as an assistant state attorney in the Miami State Attorney's Office. In 2005, she became a judge on the Miami-Dade County Court. Miller served in this capacity until her appointment to the 11th Circuit Court in 2010. She was a judge on the 11th Circuit Court from 2010 to 2019.[5][2]
