Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall the Charter of Brook Park Article XII in its entirety and Article XV, Sections 15.03(a) and 15.03(b), be amended to provide that all elections for Municipal Office shall be nonpartisan; and Article XV, Section 15.03(c) be amended to provide that in the event of a vacancy in the office of President of Council, then the other at large member of Council shall become and serve as President of Council, as long as the unexpired
portion of the term does not exceed one year; and Article XVI Section 16.02 be amended to provide that Council shall be required to submit to the electors of the City any proposed amendments to the Charter that are recommended by the Charter Review Commission?[1][2] |
