A Brook Park City Minimum Staffing Amendment measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Cuyahoga County, which is in Ohio where it was defeated.
This measure proposed to amend the Brook Park City Charter to establish a minimum daily staffing level for the fire department. This measure was put on the ballot by petition.[1]

Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall the Charter of Brook Park Article VIII, Section 8.04, be amended to provide a minimum daily staffing level in the Fire Department of eight (8) firefighter suppression and EMS personnel on each shift; and Article VIII, Section 8.05, be amended to provide that the Police Department shall consist of a Police Chief and no less than forty-three (43) police officers?[1][2] | ” |
