Brooks Anderholt

Brooks Anderholt is a judge for the Superior Court of Imperial County in California. He was elected to the court in 2012 and his current term expires in January 2019.
Education
Anderholt received a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and a J.D. from Western State University. Anderholt was admitted to the bar in 1987.[1]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Imperial County, Anderholt was an attorney working in private practice. He also worked as a defense attorney for some time. For seven years Anderholt worked as an Imperial County deputy sheriff and, before beginning his legal career, Anderholt was a high school history teacher.[2]
2012 election
Anderholt defeated Ruth Bermudez Montenegro in the primary election on June 5, winning 52.05 percent of the vote.[3][4]
