Bruce Allen
Bruce Allen is a former acting justice of the New York County Supreme Court in the New York Supreme Court 1st Judicial District. He was originally appointed to the New York City Criminal Court in 1986 and was reappointed in 1996 and 2006.[1]
Education
Allen received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College and his J.D. degree from Cornell University.[1]
Career
Allen began his career in 1975 as an associate of the law firm of Hofheimer, Gartlir, Gottlieb & Gross. In 1978, he joined the New York City District Attorney's Office, where he worked until his judicial appointment to the New York City Criminal Court in 1986.[1]
